My career choice.
Which program should I choose?
I will go to college next year, and I don't know which program should I choose. I know that I like to work with kids and help people, but I always said that I would like to become an architect. I can go in the Special Care Counseling program for becoming a Speech Therapist. I can also go in the Social Science program for becoming a teacher or in the Natural Science program for becoming an architect. I am confuse and the choice of a profession is so important. I am attracted by all of these professions.

Special Care Counseling.
The Special Care Counseling program is so nice! I met a lot of people and made new friends. I have good grades, and I think that I am in the good field of study. Next semester, we will have to do an internship. We have to choose where we want to go. I know that I love children, but I want to try something else. Should I rest in my comfort zone or should I go over it and try something new in a psychiatric institution?

Social Science.
I hate my History and Politics classes. I don't have any motivation to continue in this program and my grades aren't as good as expected. I have some difficulties with my time management. I thought that I would have straight A'S in my exams, but pulled off this idea of my brain. I think that I will put aside college for the moment and find a job of the rest of the school year.
Choice 1 : Continue in Social Science.

Natural Science.
I really like this program! It's very interesting! I have few difficulties in chemistry, but I will work hard and get over it. I study thoroughly in every course because I have a lot of motivation. I do my assignments thoughtfully. I have to decide which program I will choose at the university.

Internship with children.
I am now an intern. I am very happy where I am. I think that I am in the right place. I learn every day about the development of children. I also do a lot of activities to help them with their difficulties. This is a good place to learn the ropes of the profession. Internship comes handy to know with which clients I would like to work in the future. I found the good ones with this test drive. I would like to go to the university after college. I have two choices of program.
Choice 1 : Speech Therapist.
Choice 2 : Teacher in a primary school.
Internship in a psychiatric institution.
I am very stressed every time I go to my internships. I don't think I am in the right place. Sometimes, the residents are telling me mean things and that makes me uncomfortable. Once, a man who was very frustrated threw me a chair and almost reached me. This is a dangerous place, and you must be mentally strong to face these situations. I guess that I don't have the personality to work there. I find the atmosphere overwhelming. I can still change my place of internships.

I have more motivation because the college just announced us a trip to Costa Rica as a volunteering action! The purpose of this trip is to discover another culture and to help people there. This project cost a lot of money. I have to decide if I save my money or if I go to Costa Rica. I know that this is an invaluable experience, but I have other priorities.

Get a full time job.
I got a full time job at a restaurant. I had an OJT. I used to be a trainee, but now I am a waitress. I do a lot of money because of the tip. There also had some drawback like over shift and not a lot of breaks because of the lack off staff. Over all, my colleagues are very kind, and I like my job. While I was working at the evening shift, I met a guy and I he asked me on a date.

Architecture program.
My job as an architect takes a big part of my life. I don't have many times to see my family. I think that this is worthwhile because it is useful to build myself a good career. I do a lot of overtime to make sure that what I do is well-done. I don't have any lack of motivation because I really like what I am doing. I know that all my work is appreciated by my boss. I receive some fulfillment from him. He is very grateful of what I am doing, so he asked me if I want to move to New York for a big contract.

Astronomy program.
I have been engaged by the NASA and I moved to Florida. I am one of the most important astronomers of my department. My boss asked me if I'd be interested in doing a space trip. I know that it has a certain level of danger, but this is my biggest dream.

Choice 2 : Stay safe on the Earth.
Save my money.
I saved my money for my apartment. I will go to the university next year, and I want a good place to live. I will work a lot during the rest of the year. I will have enough money to buy furniture and food. I also need a car to move between my apartment and my parent's house. I already have one, but I don't think that it's trustful for the winter.

Got to the trip.
I arrived in Costa Rica and I immediately noticed the beauty of the county. There was beautiful landscape and people was very welcoming. We saw the reality of this country when we went in remote areas. Many people are in a dead-end position. I am very happy to help them. While I was working, I got injured in the leg. I wasn't able to walk alone. My teacher asked me if I want to come back in Quebec or stay in Costa Rica with them.

I am in love with this boy. We have a lot of common points. I am with him for 9 months now. Last night, he asked me if I wanted to be his wife. Obviously, I said yes! We will get married next summer. We also have the project to have kids together. I found the love of my life. I am very happy when I am with him.

I feel very lonely. I like my job, but I want a bit more challenge in my life. My job of waitress is a drudgery. I don't like to do it anymore. It's too late for me to go back to school because I am 50 years old now. I don't have kids and never get married. I live alone with my cat in my little apartment. I had set aside money for many years now, and I think that it's the good time for me to retire. I have to make something crazy in my life. I can go live in Grece or travel around the world.

I am in the space now. The view is wonderful because I can see the Earth very well. The trip started all great. After a couple of weeks, technical problems started. Our ship will explode in a couple of hours, so we will all die here.

I see a lot of things while I am working. I noticed that a man has some misconduct towards other employees. I see that my friend is not feeling well about that. A few days later, the perpetrator starts to have some inappropriate behaviors with me. He tried to touch me without my consent. He did this with almost all the women who work here. Should I go talk about it to my boss or withholding this information for me?

Go back to Quebec.
When I came back to Quebec, I went to the hospital. They were able to cure me and to clean the little infection. A few days later, I was able to walk normally on my leg. I started doing sports again. I continued my normal life and everything was good.

Stay in Costa Rica.
I noticed that my leg wasn't normal. It was hurting a lot and wasn't able to walk. I was trying to hide it from my teachers because I didn't want to go to the hospital.

Move to New York.
I do a lot of money with this contract. I don't have any time for myself. All I am doing is working. I feel very lonely because I don't have the time for having a husband and kids. Even if I do a lot of money, I am not happy. I cry many times a day, and I don't know why. My mental health is not going well.

Stay in Montreal.
I work for the best architecture company of Canada. Even if it has that reputation, you see the truth of this company when you work there. More often than not, you get sucked up in a bad position because the boss of the company has not implemented an office politics. Some employees undermine the production of a project because they want to make more money. They add unnecessary expenses to their customers to keep more money for themselves. I am not comfortable with that, and I will resign from my duties in this company.

Go live in Grece.
I arrived in Greece a few months ago. The view is amazing and the weather is wonderful. I met a man while I was walking on the beach. He asked me on a diner with him.

I am travelling all around the world. I did the whole European continent. I will continue my travel in Asia, Australia, Africa, and then, South America. I feel very free and happy. I needed some fresh air.

When I explained this situation to my boss, he didn't believe me. He said that this was impossible because this employee is very kind and work well. He literally laughed in my face. I was so angry when I get out of his office that I made my resignation letter. I couldn't work with a person who treats me like that.

The employee continued to do things to me. He wants to give me money in exchange for doing things with him. He said that he would stop bothering me if I accept. I don't have any choices because otherwise, he will never stop telling me threats. I am very tired of earring him. I guess that it is the only thing to do if I want him to stop.

I am in university to become a Speech Therapist. I really like the profession. What I learned interest me a lot, and I want to learn more. When I get my diploma, I can choose to open my own private clinic or join a public service.

I like the profession that I am doing, but this is a lot of work. I don't think that I am done for doing this. I am very tired and the kids take me a lot of my energy. After this school year, I will take a year off and concentrate on my mental health. I think that I am starting a little depression. It affects my job a lot.

I completely lost all of my motivation to continue in this program. I don't want to do this profession anymore. I am lost and don't know what I want to do in my life. I decided to take a year off. I need time to think about my future.

I changed the place of my internship. My teacher proposed to do my internship with elderly people. This is a calm environment and this will be less stressful. I will see in the next days if I like it or not.

I found a place that I like. The people who live there are very kind and grateful. My colleagues who are nurses help me a lot. They encourage me to go get my diploma as a nurse, because they would see me doing this profession.

I am a nurse at the hospital. I am very tired and work over shifts. I find the wage very low for what we are doing. A lot of my colleague leave because of a depression. We have a lack of staffs. I really don't choose the right profession.

I am very happy in my professional life. I like the job that I am doing. I returned to the place that I did my internship and engaged me as a Special Care Counselling. I think that I can work here for the rest of my life.

I opened my clinic a year ago. I don't know how to manage a company. I don't look at my expenses and buy more than I am supposed to. I don't have enough money to go on. I have to declare bankruptcy.

I work with a lot of other professionals in this clinic. I really like the ambiance. Every day, I receive patients for working with them. I help them with their language difficulties. I can definitely do this job for the rest of my life.

I feel very safe in my new car. I am lucky because my parents helped me to buy it. They want me to be in security. I can go to my apartment, and they are not worry about me. I will finish my university diploma and will be able to repay them.

I was going back to my apartment during the winter and there was a snowstorm outside. My car didn't help me to go back on the road, so I had an accident. The paramedics bring me to the hospital and called my parents. They had two choices for me: bring me back to life with a big brain sequela or let me in the coma.

I decided to go to the hospital because the pain was unbearable. The doctor cleaned the infection and kept me for the night because I was too weak. When I get out of the hospital, the bill was of $1,000.

I waited for a few days, but I wasn't able to hide my pain anymore. My teacher brings me to the hospital. When I got there, I saw a doctor, and he told me that he had to amputate my leg before the infection affect my organs. It was an emergency. I will live with one leg for the rest of my life.

This was an amazing diner. I laughed a lot and had fun. We have a lot of common points. This is a real gentleman, and I see a future with him. I think that I am falling in love.
